The Madison Scouts
I attribute nearly much of my early growth as a photographer in 2018 and 2019 to my time spent in the summers on the media team of The Madison Scouts. To grow each day with and for the corps and make images that felt like a preservation of history and a memento of the best summer in many of our young performers lives was one of the greatest honors of my life to date and something I look back on with much fondness. One of the great privileges those summers allowed was the time I was able to get to know the membership through my photography, which allowed me to document them more authentically and sincerely within the world that we all lived in for that time. Many of those bonds maintains today, having gone to the camps for what would have been the 2020 season, and volunteering several days in summers since.
Here are some photos from this time.
