Congratulations, Grads!

So glad you're interested in having me take your cap and gown photos! I've been taking grad photos since long before I graduated college myself, and have had such a joy getting to know people and celebrate their successes alongside them, which is one of the main reasons I love taking them each semester.

My sessions are usually a nice (and oftentimes nostalgic) walk on campus, visiting iconic landmarks to take photos. I'm a believer that graduation photos should be easy and fun - all while capturing great photos - and I've structured my approach to these sessions to be just that.

Package Types

There's no one size fits all option with college grad photos. I find these are the sessions that I do have the broadest variability between what is asked of me in the structure of the session. For that reason, I have three different package types that I offer for college grads.

Individual Session - $300

Book

60 minute session walking around campus taking photos at some of the most iconic and sentimental locations.

Mini Session Slot - $125

Book

On select days I can set up a block of mini sessions for a variety of people on the same campus! I will be blocking off some days late April and early May, check my Instagram for most recent updates.

Friends Session

Book

For the people graduating college who couldn't remember their time without the people who did it alongside them. Mix of photos of the full group, smaller groups, and individuals. Length varies on group size and needs, max 3 hours.

$150/person for 2 people

$125/person groups of 3-6

FAQs

A lot of people don't know where to start or what to ask when planning photos, here are some common questions!

"Do I have to wear my cap and gown the whole time?"

Of course not! Usually people want some photos in their cap and gown, and some photos in other clothes! If we have time you can even bring different shirts or something like an instrument to diversify the photos from our session and capture exactly what your collegiate experience was.

"Can we bring props?"

Please do! Bringing something like an instrument, basketball, or camera is one of the best ways to diversify the photos within the session and capture exactly what high school was for you!

"Do you charge a security deposit?"

For solo and friend sessions, I do ask for a $100 security deposit at the time of booking. That ensures that we all have the time locked into our calendar and are committed. This is refundable if you cancel up to 2 weeks before the session. The rest of the fees associated are due at the time of the session.

Mini sessions are due entirely at the time of booking.

"I have several spots on campus I want to go to, can we do that?"

Time willing, of course we can! I want to make sure you get the photos you want and am not opposed to a walk or short drive to do it. If you know time might be a problem, I might push you towards a friends shoot with people with a similar hit list, or an individual session!

"Do you travel?"

I sure do! I don't typically travel too far for grad photos, but part of being a midwesterner to my core is that I am unafraid of long drives to be in the right place with the right people.

Travel expenses are added when more than 30 miles from Broad Ripple in Indianapolis.

I do also visit family near Lansing, MI several times a year so if you can accommodate to those dates we can make that work!

"Do yo watermark the photos?"

Nope! You pay me for the session which includes digital copies, and I don't want to cover them up with my own name or logo. I do ask that if and when you post on social media, you do tag me in the post though so people can find me easily!

"Can I print my own photos?"

All my photo packages come with unlimited downloading and the option to buy professional prints! One thing I've learned from my clients though, is that they love I don't require them to print through me and that gallery, so they can choose how the photos can live on.

"How many photos do we get?"

This can depend on the session, the grad, and other factors. Typically the individual session is over 40 photos, and mini sessions are over 15.

I don't contractually agree to a certain number because I'd hate to deliver photos that I don't like or are unflattering to meet a benchmark, or hold photos I like back because I only have to edit 40 (which is what would actually usually happen).
